Bryan Courtois

Bryan got his start with outdoor activities through the Boy Scouts growing up in Millinocket where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He continues to be involved with the scouts and is currently serving at Committee Chair for Troop 310 in Saco. Bryan enjoys hiking year round and loves to get out on the water either canoeing or kayaking. He has also been heavily involved with the Appalachian Mountain Club having served as Outings Chair and Vice Chair for the Maine Chapter and continues to run workshops in navigation, GPS, and introductory hiking, winter hiking and others and has been involved with the AMC's Mountain Leadership School since 1996. Bryan is a Wilderness First Responder and is involved with the York County Emergency Response Rescue Team. For the past 15 years Bryan has maintained The Basin Trail in the WMNF. When not outside Bryan enjoys making hand made knives and has been featured in Knives on several occasions.
