Lisa DeHart is a Registered Maine Guide in Wilderness whitewater canoeing. Started canoeing in 1987, began working as an apprentice guide in 1993, and got my guides licence in 1998. Co-operated my own guide service with my husband Jeff for 4 years and now work mainly as a freelance guide for large outfits like Wilds of Maine and other outfits. Guided from the Rio Grande in Texas to Quebec province and all major rivers in Maine. Pro staff for the Maine Canoe Symposium since 2000. Teaching women's canoe poling among other things. I hold an American Canoe Association 3 rd place in Whitewater Canoe Poling and have won several regional competitions in black powder rifle shooting. Other outdoor interests include fishing, trapping, hunting snowshoeing, and skiing.
